About this Event

HAPPY NEW YEAR! The Lord has been gracious to us and given us another year to prepare for His coming! This year your Family Ministries Department has a plan for a Marriage Retreat for the entire conference, March 24-26, 2023 at Lone Star Campground. This is not a church sponsored event, but a conference event. If your church would like to have a church retreat, please reach out to us for a separate discussion.

Just a brief explanation about our approach to Marriage Strengthening Retreats:

 We believe in the small group process, which means we will have a maximum of 15 couples!

 During the weekend retreat, we will offer skills and opportunities for growth and sharing

 We, the facilitators, will be active participants in the weekend and the process

 There will be “couple time” for you and your spouse

 NO CHILDREN ALLOWED – NO EXCEPTIONS!

 Both Spouses must attend for the full weekend (Friday evening – Sunday Morning)

Marriage and the Sabbath are the only two things from Eden we still have in our world today! The Creator officiated at the first wedding – which makes marriage exciting and SACRED!

Please keep all this information in mind when you prayerfully make your decision to join us March 24-26, 2023 at Lone Star Campground to participate in the Marriage is for Friends Retreat.

The registration form will be sent out to your church through your elected Family Ministries leaders, clerks, pastors. Look for it!
